Open the main Norton interface > Advanced > click on the time value next to 'Run LiveUpdate'. The Last Update time value shown on the Basic interface is ambiguous to see what this time value actually represents, you need to click on the Advanced link on the main Norton interface: My Norton activity dialogue box is showing that live update last ran 8 hours ago, but I ran a manual update which installed 9 things about half an hour ago, and a second manual update installed 1 further a few minutes back.
